Hi, I'm Andrew. I'm a 22-year-old designer and problem solver currently taking courses in Urban Design. I previously graduated in December of 2017 with a B.S. from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI.
As a designer, I always look to learn from my colleagues and peers. I hope to create experiences that are useful, usable, and engaging. The idea of solving complex problems related to sustainability, the ever-growing world population, cultural traditions, and future lifestyle trends is exactly why urban design is appealing to me. I want to create spaces that promote health, collaboration, and growth. I honestly believe that good design changes the attitude of everyone. Landscapes and buildings convey a certain persona and atmosphere that promotes feelings, whether they are for better or worse.
When I’m not working, I spend my time shooting photography, cycling, rebuilding vintage motorcycles, and surfing the great lakes. I believe all of my passions have given me a unique perspective as a designer and helped my problem solving abilities.
(You can catch me in a motorcycle helmet or a wetsuit more often than not.)
